Dave McKane
When he saw an exhibition of photographs which had text overlaid on them, Dave was struck by how the words helped bring the viewer deeper into the image.A portfolio he had shot a decade earlier ÒLight and ShadeÓ became the basis for a series of poems which were written specifically for each photograph. Dave has been taking creative photographs for over 20 years and has had a number of poetry books published over that time. This was the first project that allowed him to fuse these creative disciplines.
