St.Andrew's, Lucan - built in 1823 and located in the main street of Lucan Village, is the younger of our two Churches. The design of the church was influenced by the architect James Gandon who donated the land on which the church was built.

Over the years changes were made to the building but in 1996, following the completion of the parish centre, work commenced on the restoration of the church to its former intimate design.

The tower contains the original clock manufactured by Dent & Co. of London in 1875, who were also responsible for the manufacture of London’s Big Ben.
